Use your share certificate or savings account to secure a low interest rate with a savings secured loan. Keep your savings while using it as collateral for borrowing, and continue to earn dividends throughout the loan period:
- Enjoy a lower interest rate than on most other types of loans
- Borrow up to 100% of your savings or certificate balance
- Certificate secured loans can be financed up to certificate term
You can apply in many ways:
- Complete and submit a loan application online.
- Submit an online application via MEFCU Direct Online Banking. Log onto online banking, select the Loans icon, and then the Apply for Loan icon. Follow the instructions to apply. This method saves you time because you do not have to re-enter your personal information.
- Print a loan application from our Forms page and fax or mail according to instructions provided.
- Call our Member Contact Center at 1-800-821-7280 to request an application be sent to you.
