Mobile Deposits
MEFCU offers mobile deposit so you can deposit your checks conveniently and securely to your account without having to travel to a branch. Mobile banking saves you time by allowing you to upload a check using your mobile phone, provides a secure way to deposit checks, and its free to our members.
Mobile Check Deposit Tips:
Daily mobile deposit limits: $1000.00 for standard memberships or $5,000.00 for Concierge Silver/Gold memberships.
Name on the check must match exactly to the name on the account.
Endorse the back of the check and note the following:
"FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY TO MEFCU"
Effective July 1, 2018, ALL mobile deposits must be endorsed or deposits will be rejected.
Place the check flat against a solid colored surface that contrasts with the check. Use a dark surface for light checks or a light surface for dark checks.
Make sure that you have ample lighting and avoid using the flash. Bright but indirect light is best. Placing the check too close to lighting sources may cause shadows.
Hold your phone directly above the check (not at an angle).
Ensure all four corners of the check fall inside the frame.
If your image is blurry, move the camera a few inches higher (away from the check).
Once deposited, keep your check in a secure area for at least 2 weeks to ensure that your deposit has been credited to your account.
Don't forget, members can also make check deposits via participating Co-Op ATMS. To find a Co-Op ATM accepting check deposits near you, please visit our
