If you need to establish credit or rebuild your credit, a MEFCU Platinum VISA Secured credit card might be right for you. Backed by a special savings account, VISA Platinum Secured can be used just like any other VISA credit card.

VISA Platinum Secured has two options—select the one that works for you:

Fully-Secured Option

• Deposit and maintain 110% of credit limit in a secondary savings account
• Minimum credit line is $500
• Card is issued immediately upon collateral account funding

Semi-Secured Option:

• Maximum credit line available is $500
• You can build your collateral account through weekly deposits of at least $20 into a special savings account
• Card will be issued when collateral account reaches $250
• Deposits continue until collateral account balance reaches 110% of your credit limit
